After what felt like an eternity of climbing, Tinker finally appeared, completely unfazed by the night’s events. She trotted over happily as if nothing unusual had happened.

Her owner, now exhausted and covered in dirt, managed to slide back down the hill, Tinker beside him. When they finally made it home, Tinker ran straight to her human mom, who hugged her and showered her affectionately, oblivious that her husband had just risked life and limb to retrieve their mischievous pup.
